“Alpa” is a personal project by Lukas Thorup of TACTYC Studio.
Set in a nordic environment, the film explores new ways of making soft wool animations in Cinema 4D, utilized to weave a sweater.
The concept for the soundtrack was to let the animations and cuts be the driving force for the flow, structure and arrangement of the music. The musical palette is inspired by the atmospheric and organic nature of Icelandic and Scandinavian music, making space for the soft sound design to unfold.
